Penn's Gartner Portal
Change to Gartner Service
Beginning April 1, 2015, the University will no longer subscribe to the Gartner for Technical Professionals Services (GTP). Gartner Core Services will continue to be available for all full time active faculty, staff and students.
Welcome to Penn's Gartner Portal. Gartner, one of the world's largest information technology research and advisory consulting firms, provides in-depth research and analyses on IT issues, trends, companies, products, and emerging technologies via Penn's Gartner Enterprise Portal Access.
The Gartner Core Services is available for all active Penn faculty, staff and students.
If you already have a WebLogin token, you will be taken directly to the Gartner site by following the above link. If not, you will be asked to authenticate using your PennKey/password.
If you are not an active Penn faculty, staff or student, you will see an error message. If you feel that you do not have the appropriate access or are having any problems with the Gartner portal, you can ask your Local Support Provider to open a Remedy ticket with the ISC ProDesk.
I'm getting an error message when I try to get to Gartner. What does this mean?
An error occurred during Federation with Gartner. Please contact your administrator.
Our contract with Gartner only allows access for active faculty, students, staff and IT staff. If you are not in one of these groups then we're sorry but you cannot use Gartner.
If you feel that you do not have the appropriate access or are having any problems with the Gartner portal, you can ask your Local Support Provider to open a Remedy ticket with the ISC ProDesk.
I'm an IT staff member so I used to go directly to GTP when I enter the Gartner portal. All I see now is the Gartner Core interface?
|The University is no longer subscribed to the Gartner for Technical Professionals Services. We are still subscribed to the Gartner Core Services and you should be able to find pertinent research articles on your subject in the Core.
I'm an IT staff member and I've signed up for "tracks" in GTP but I haven't received any new articles in some time. What happened?
|We're sorry but now that the University is no longer subscribed to GTP, those articles that you once received by "tracking" are no longer available to you.
