Adobe Flash Player
Adobe's Flash Player is a recommended plug-in for viewing multimedia files on the web. With Flash installed, you can view animations, hear streaming audio, and participate in interactive demos. To check for current versions of all your web browser plug-ins, please go to Mozilla's plug-in check here.
Flash Player is a free plug-in; it is available for download from Adobe's web site.
- Download the Windows version of Flash Player for Firefox and Internet Explorer (Flash Player is integrated in Google Chrome)
- Download the OS X version of Flash Player for Firefox and Safari (Flash Player is integrated in Google Chrome)
No further configuration is necessary.

Security advisory: Adobe has acknowledged vulnerabilities in versions of Flash Player for OS X and Windows prior to 184.108.40.206. Information Systems & Computing (ISC) strongly suggests upgrading to Flash Player 220.127.116.11 or later.
Compatibility note: there have been reports that Flash Player versions 11 and 12 are incompatible with Dragon Naturally Speaking for Windows and either Firefox or Internet Explorer. ISC suggests that Dragon users select Google Chrome as their default browser.
Windows 8.1 Update compatibility
Flash Player is integrated within Windows Internet Explorer 11 and compatible with Windows 8.1 Update. It is also compatible when used within desktop versions of Chrome and Firefox.
OS X Yosemite compatibility
Flash Player versions 18.104.22.168 and above function correctly in OS X Yosemite.
