Symantec Drive Encryption

Symantec Drive Encryption (formerly known as PGP Whole Disk Encryption or WDE) provides comprehensive disk encryption, enabling protection for data on desktops, notebooks, and removable media. The encrypted data is continuously safeguarded from unauthorized access, providing strong security for intellectual property and confidential data.

Note: Many schools and units have standardized on the use of specific applications and operating systems. Faculty and staff should speak to their local support provider to determine which products are supported locally before selecting or purchasing software.
