Instructional Technology Special Interest Group (inst-tech)

The Instructional Technology Special Interest Group is open to University personnel interested in improving teaching and learning through creative use of technology.  Topics include classroom technology, computer labs, mobile applications, courseware, streaming media, and other tools for both on-campus and online education.

Discussions touch on technical issues as well as the policies and best practices required for success.  We promote use of resources from the New Media Consortium, Educause and other organizations.

Most discussions happen through an online mailing list with meetings and events held periodically.
Meetings are held on 4th Wednesday of the even-numbered months at 1:30 PM, usually in Bits & Pieces (Sansom West, Room 306), but the location is subject to confirmation.  Join the list for updates!
