In the past year SSL has eroded in a very public way. While we at Penn have spent a lot of time remediating for POODLE, there are a number of similar uses of aging cryptography that can stand some scrutiny. Is Penn keeping pace with changes in cryptography in the world? What other cryptography infrastructure should we be keeping an eye on? How can we best position our infrastructure and customer-facing services so that they are able to react to an increasingly unstable security landscape?
