Tour the Penn Video Network Broadcast Studio

For individuals where were unable to attend the session in April, join members of Video SIG to learn about the Broadcast Studio that was built for the President's Office for instant access to Network TV via the internet. The new studio is a remotely controlled, broadcast quality video production solution capable of capturing, streaming, and recording HD and SD video and audio over our IP network. The VideoLink system feeds HD video and audio feeds to television networks, content distribution networks, or other destinations using an enhanced IP service. This leading-edge technology does this without the technical limitations normally associated with video over IP assuring a picture that meets the broadcast standards of networks like CNN, ABC, and CBS.

We will also visit MAGPI's IP videoconferencing facility that features three cameras, studio lighting, soundproofing and greenscreen applications with Polycom HD and Lifesize videoconference equipment.

Please note that due to space limitations an RSVP will be required to attend this session. RSVPs can be sent "Jeff Douthett" or "Gates Rhodes".
