Tour the Teaching, Learning, and Collaboration spaces in Van Pelt Library

Van Pelt Library has graciously agreed to host our first AV-SIG “field trip.” So, please join us as we get an inside look at some of Van Pelt Library's Teaching, Learning, & Collaboration spaces and the technologies used in support of those spaces.

Our hosts will be Marjorie Hassen, Director of Public Services; Doug Smullens, IT Manager; and Anu Vedantham, Director of the Weigle Information Commons. We will convene in the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center's Cinema Studies Classroom, Room 425 (at the far west end of the 4th floor), where Marjorie will provide an overview of the library's learning and collaboration spaces and Doug will show off the capabilities of the recently-upgraded Cinema Studies Classroom. We will then head to the Weigle Information Commons (1st floor) where Anu will discuss the WIC's work supporting students and faculty at the intersection of technology, pedagogy, and collaboration.
