Veterans Upward Bound is a fully federally funded program that offers in-person and online services.
Pre-College
- English, Spanish, Math, and Science bootcamps
- Helps with college applications
- Financial aid and scholarships
Transitioning to College
- College tours
- Study skills
- Support groups
Support through College
- Yearly stipend
- Mentorship
- Academic trips
You are eligible for Veterans Upward Bound if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a veteran of the United States Armed Forces
- You have at least 181 days of Active Duty Service
- You have any discharge other than “dishonorable”
- You live in one of the following counties: Philadelphia, PA; Bucks, PA; Chester, PA; Delaware, PA; Montgomery, PA; Burlington, NJ or Camden, NJ
- You are low income and/or a first-generation college student and/or have an academic need
Veterans Upward Bound supports pre-college and undergraduate veterans.
